Freakin' Franken storm for the US

Frankenstein's monster as portrayed by Boris Karloff
Hey did you see what I did there? Freakin' Franken storm? Actually it was just a variation on the Yahoo News headline which just soooo nicely fits into this news blog. They said "'Frankenstorm': Worse than sum of its parts'. Of course Yahoo News actually comes from the AP (Associated Press). Well their report even included the phrase "freakish". But want to know why exactly? well then read on.

The storm that is threatening 60 million Americans in the eastern third of the nation in just a couple of days with high winds, drenching rains, extreme tides, flooding and probably snow is much more than just an ordinary weather system. It's a freakish and unprecedented monster.
See it? right there! Well anyway the rest of the article goes on to talk about how got that way. How it got so big?? Very basically the gist of it is A cold front, a full moon! huh? who would've thought that? Actually full moons affect the tides so yeah that messes up the sea levels a bit further. Oh and toss in some arctic winds too that adds to it.

Essentially it is mostly so many things happening at once. Yeah global warming probably doesn't help much either. but franken freakin storms, batten down the hatches peeps! oh yeah frankenstein's monster was made up of parts of dead stuff so, dunno about the analogy but hey, looks good and exciting! It's alive!!!
